  Our BHL Assessment service provides an independent performance review of development proposals against the BHL design framework principles.
  
  The BHL assessment is led by Panel assessors as a desktop-based assessment following a site visit.

  Strategic Site Review

  Provides site allocation support at early plan making stages. A strategic site reviews key site allocations, considering capacity to deliver housing and other associated infrastructure.
  
  This process offers advice against emerging new Local Plan objectives as well as considering sites’ capacity to accommodate development.

  Infrastructure Review

  Provides independent, multidisciplinary advice for major infrastructure projects, including Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs).
  
  Reviews can be aligned with key stages of the Development Consent Order (DCO) process, helping project teams test their design vision, respond to local context and demonstrate how design quality is carried through from early proposals to delivery.
