  Best for: Major, strategic or complex projects, including large housing developments, urban extensions, infrastructure, public buildings and significant regeneration proposals.
  
  Format: Up to six hours, including a site visit, with five or six panellists. Normally held in person.

  Best for: Major projects, including housing developments of 20 – 200 homes, mixed-use schemes, town-centre and regeneration projects, sensitive sites and public buildings.
  
  Format: Up to 4 hours, including a site visit, with four or five panellists. Normally held in person.
  
  Fee: £3,950 + VAT

  Design Review: Returning / Small

  Best for: Proposals returning after an earlier Design Review, smaller development proposals or projects requiring advice on a clearly defined design issue.
  
  Format: Two-hour online session with three panellists.

  Building for Healthy Life (BHL) Review

  Our BHL Review service provides an independent performance review of development proposals against the BHL design framework principles. The BHL Review is suitable for small housing only schemes of c 10-70 homes that are unconstrained and without significant infrastructure requirements.
  
  Format: The BHL Review is led by Panel assessors as a desktop-based assessment following a site visit. A draft BHL assessment will be prepared and discussed at the online meeting with the LPA prior to a final report being issued.

  Infrastructure Review

  Provides independent, multidisciplinary advice for major infrastructure projects, including Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs).
  
  Reviews can be aligned with key stages of the Development Consent Order (DCO) process, helping project teams test their design vision, respond to local context and demonstrate how design quality is carried through from early proposals to delivery.
  
  Infrastructure Design Review can be commissioned as a single review or as an ongoing programme aligned with the project’s design, consent and delivery gateways.
